The local slogan "Everybody's hometown" isn't meant to capture how ordinary things are in Media. The Delaware County seat 's diversity and welcoming feel are evident downtown in its retail and restaurant corridor, at Rose Tree Park's free summer concert series, and its status as America's first Fair Trade Town. Six local banks have supported the Media Business Authority's efforts to create vital downtown commercial district, which provides goods and services as diverse as the community it serves. Things don't move slower here, they march to a different beat, one uniquely Media.
