Fishtown

If you're in a band, build things or sell things you make, chances are you've spent some time in Fishtown, a gentrified working-class neighborhood that has welcomed talented artists and designers who have sought homes, studios and performance spaces here. Established venues like Johnny Brendas or newer ones like 2424 Studios are buttressed by a growing number of boutique shops, off-the beaten-path eateries and coffee shops. The Frankford Ave. Arts Corridor is home to some of the neighborhood's most cutting-edge works.
