Join Philly Tech Week and rally around some hometown spirit at the annual #notatSXSW party. This year, they're making it more than just a meetup and adding a design gallery and competition (check out details on the competition here). They'll also be giving a Philly Tech Week 2014 sneak peak; it's happening April 4 through 12.

Nerd Nite Philadelphia is teaming up with the Franklin Institute to bring you some special talks highlighting life and death in the ancient city of Pompeii. A local geologist will also talk about current volcanic research. To shake things up a little bit, they’ll be tossing out some nerdy quizzo in between speakers with special prizes.
