Walk down Baltimore Ave between 43rd and 51st Streets and check out great dollar deals from some of West Philly's coolest businesses. This will be the only Dollar Stroll of the year, so don't miss out! There's something for everyone: jewelry, pizza, beer, novelty gifts and more. And be on the lookout for a variety of street performers, and live music from Purples and City Rain at the Y-Not Radio Stage.

For the second time, Philadelphia will join more than 500 cities to celebrate World Music Day. Make Music Philly is a "DIY" festival -- all over the city, people will be performing music, whether at organized concerts or informal performances. The goal of World Music Day is to highlight the role of music in citizens' lives both locally and globally. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to participate!

Fourth Annual End of Year Showcase

On Sunday, June 22, Rock to the Future’s MusiCore students will perform at their annual end of year showcase. Seven student bands will perform a variety of original and cover songs ranging from Fall Out Boy to Hall and Oates. There will also be a special awards presentation honoring Rock to the Future's first graduating senior. 

Rock to the Future provides music education to Philadelphia's underserved youth at no cost to them or their families. The programs also work to ignite passion and creativity, and support academic achievement. The opportunities at Rock to the Future help keep students on track for long term success in music, school and life.
