The Exchange PHL, a shared office space for nonprofits and philanthropy organizations, has two great Breakfast Series events coming up, the first in October and the second in November. This month's topic is, "How do we know when we've struck social innovation?" Speakers include Luke Butler, Chief of Staff to the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development, Tine Turton-Hansen, co-founder of the Philadelphia Social Innovations Lab, Nicholas Torres, co-founder of Philadelphia Social Innovations Lab, and Tina Wahl, president of The Barra Foundation. The conversation will focus on innovation in the nonprofit and social sectors. November's conversation will take the findings and ideas from October's session and move the conversation from entrepreneurship to operations.

Monday features a session for adults who have some college credit and are looking to finish their degree. On Tuesday, there will be one-on-one consulting sessions on how to succeed in college, and a chess and debate challenge for students. If you're looking to serve as a mentor for youth who are navigating high school, college and beyond, Wednesday will have a training session for mentors.
