The 215 Festival is back in all of its literary goodness for 2014! Running for four days, the event will feature all sorts of bookish fun from readings to performances to writing clinics and, of course, the Bibliodiscotheque. This year, the festival has joined forces with the
South Street Headhouse District and South Street shops, bars, and restaurants to create a unique experience and keep with its mission of celebrating the written, spoken and visualized word. The festival will also host curated events from some of Philly's literary powerhouses such as
Apiary Magazine,
The Head & The Hand Press,
The American Poetry Review,
Barrelhouse and more.
The festival kicks off Thursday night with a special reading by poet laureate Frank Sherlock. For more information, click

Pennsbury Manor, a reconstruction of William Penn's house on the Delaware River, making apple cider, trick-or-treating and playing games.
