Indie film and food will converge this summer with the launch of Film al Fresco, an outdoor film series presented by the Galleries at Moore College of Art & Design. On four Fridays in June and July, Moore will dish up independent films by Philadelphia-area filmmakers and tasty street snacks from local food trucks. The series kicks off this Friday with Locomotive, a 76 minute film about a straight-edge musician and his winding career path (directed by Jeremy Waltman; written by Adam Lucas). Click here to watch the trailer.

The food vendors at the first event will be Lil Pop Shop and Foo Truck. Upcoming vendors include Little Baby's Ice Cream (June 28), Jimmie's Cupcakes (July 12) and Street Food Philly https://twitter.com/StFoodPhilly  (July 26).
All screenings begin at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) at Aviator Park on the Parkway right across from Moore. The full line-up of films and food is available here
