Rally for the Reading Viaduct Rail Park

Organized by Fringe Arts, the Rally for the Reading Viaduct Rail Park block party supports Phase I of the Reading Viaduct reclamation project. Yards Brewing and local food trucks will be on the scene. There will be theater performances, fire dancers, video projections, DJs and dancing. The street festival after-party begins at 7:30 p.m. Make a night of it by joining local Viaduct supporters for a sunset dinner featuring a pig roast and pizza. Read more about Viaduct Park here.

On Thursday, the beloved Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll returns. Area vendors will provide discounted items for just a $1 -- this includes $1 scoops from Little Baby's Ice Cream and $1 seven-ounce brews from Dock Street. The Dollar Stroll brings out thousands and celebrates the continued growth of this vibrant and diverse commercial corridor.

This weekend, kiss summer goodbye at final show of the Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party Series. Earlier this summer Panic at the Disco! and Cold War Kids took the stage (they've got recaps of all the shows here). On Saturday, The Unlikely Candidates and American Authors open for The Airborne Toxic Event.
