MOVING PICTURE: Down on Arts Street, Textiles Transform and Transcend

Kathryn Pannepacker did not want to see a great idea come to a conclusion with the unveiling of a textile mural devoted to the city's homeless. So she and some enterprising textile and visual artists created the Arts Street Textile Studio and Handmade with the Homeless, which gives people in transition the opportunity to learn, create and sell. In the end, the studio is helping many find their place in the community.
