Cinedelphia Film Festival Presents: The History of TLA
Monday, April 15
7 p.m.
PhilaMOCA, 531 N. 12th St.
$8

Monday night, head down to PhilaMOCA for a screening of For the Love of Film: The History of the TLA, presented by the Cinedelphia Film Festival. Join Ray Murray, president of TLA Entertainment Group, and other longtime TLAers as they fondly recall the days when the Theater of the Living Arts (TLA) was a single-screen movie theater showing repertory and art films. Murray and crew will walk the audience through 40 years of Philadelphia alternative cinema, from the TLA's birth as a South Street hippie-cinema to its era as a local video store chain and onto its new life as a streaming video service and distribution company.

The Cinedelphia Film Festival runs through April 25. Like their page on Facebook to keep up with the latest news. Click here to reserve or purchase tickets to the festival's events.
