World Cafe Live (3025 Walnut St., Philadelphia)

If you've got kids and your kids love music -- or high-energy performances -- World Cafe Live's Peanut Butter and Jams series is where you'll want to be for The Cat's Pajamas and their soon-to-be-released new album, Backseat Driver. The eight-piece band is more than child's play, though, with an eclectic mix of accomplished performers who have played with the likes of Etta James, Van Morrison, The Fifth Dimension and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
