Center City Jazz Festival
Friday, May 10 - Saturday, May 11

With the city still buzzing from last year's inaugural event, the second annual Center City Jazz Festival is set to kick off Friday with an expanded schedule and more stages. The Philadelphia Museum of Art will be the first of six venues to host some of today's most exciting jazz talent. Friday's performance showcases vocalist Venissa Santi and her band, featuring the Grammy-nominated Jane Bunnett. The "festival crawl" will take place on Saturday, when more than a dozen bands will captivate audiences with new and original sounds. To cap off the evening, festival headliner Orrin Evans takes the stage.
