The UArts Direct Dialogue Series continues Thursday with "Press for Artists." Presented by the Center for Emerging Visual Artists, the Corzo Center, Flying Kite Media and Small But Mighty Arts Grant, this event will feature an expert panel offering tips on how to stand out, pitch and develop relationships with reporters. They will also discuss how to creatively market yourself and your work. 

Moderated by Flying Kite Publisher Michelle Freeman, the panel includes Emily Guendelsberger, arts editor of the Philadelphia City Paper; Bonnie MacAllister, a freelance arts writer and multimedia artist; and Rakia Reynolds, CEO of Skai Blue Media. Chelten Avenue, is hosting a meet-up of Equal Dollars members and screening The Money Fix, a documentary about our financial system and the benefits of community currencies.
