University City is already a hub of sustainability. Off the Grid, a sustainability program created by the neighborhood's community development organization, is poised to bring together all of University City's assets in even more meaningful ways.

Adam Schmidt just wanted a place to drink cheap. His new online venture, Drink Philly, is that place, and he's spreading the word at Old City First Friday with good food, good art and free, local booze.
