"Bigger, better and selling out fast!" Calling all entrepreneurs, the fifth-annual Founder Factory is back, and scaling is this year's theme. The agenda includes a keynote address from Comcast co-founder Rick Nucci, as well as talks by SEER Interactive founder Will Reynolds, Monetate co-founder David Bookspan and others, hands-on workshops and a networking happy hour. If you’re a tech-curious Philadelphian, this event could be just the thing to take your ideas to the next level.

The Smart Affair

This event celebrates the past accomplishments and future potential of sustainability projects at Drexel. Hosted in their own SMART house, a student-led, multidisciplinary living laboratory, this infotainment-filled evening is a perfect opportunity to network with like-minded Philadelphians and learn from top industry professionals. 

The event will include a cocktail reception, auction, a cappella entertainment and informative presentations on sustainability. If you are unable to make it, consider sponsoring a student to attend.

Kobu

Whether or not you move to the beat of your own drummer, this is an event that will have you tapping your toes! Sponsored by the Philadelphia TAIKO Center and hosted by Holy Redeemer Church and School, Kobu will celebrate the Japanese drumming cultures of Taiko, Shakuchachi, and Koto, and feature members of the Taiko center as well as guest artists Mark H. Rooney, Glenn Shouyuu Swann and Mirai Yauyama.
